Manifesto for a beautiful life

What would you do if money wasn’t a problem?

No, really, what would you do? Don’t tell me it’s insane to think like that, unrealistic, improbable, not worth spending one minute on the subject. Steal that minute from your overly packed agenda, turn the music off, shut the door, stay there with yourself. Think about it and let yourself smile while the possibilities go through your mind.

I did that earlier.

Suddenly, my thoughts were bouncing from travelling the world capturing breathtaking sights, to popping from airplane to airplane, from fashion show to fashion show, writing endless lines about the beautiful clothes, to riding wild horses and shooting my own Discovery show. So beautiful and so far away these scenarios seemed, that I couldn’t bring myself to open my eyes.  In the end, I did. In front of me, my blog. Around me, the green walls of my living room, my pair of glasses, my travel-sized handcreams and my realiable, trusty friend – the smartphone.

I couldn’t be more away from my dreams… or was it so? The fact was I had it all here already

 – the opportunity to share with you the beauty of this world, to fill my heart with dozens of pictures from fashion shows, to feel free to open my heart and soul to the world. To you.

And so, here I am, writing this manifesto. The reason why I start blogging, the reason why I’m the Fashion Grinch.

„The most dangerous risk of all: the risk of spending your life not doing what you want on the bet you can buy yourself the FREEDOM to do it later”

All I want is to touch your hearts, the hearts of million strangers whose faces I can only imagine. To show you bits and pieces of this wonderful world and its potential. To show you beauty is at your reach, that choice is a gift you have day after day and the responsibility you have to contribute to this world’s beauty.

I hope you can see that fashion is just another side of beauty, that style is just another expression of the beautiful soul you have.

All the mistakes, the mishaps and the clashing looks are effects of mistaken identity, of anger and frustration, of hopelessness and fear.

Do you know the source of style of all those beautiful people you admire? A peaceful mind, a quiet soul, a blooming heart. They just glow, whatever they choose to wear, be it a white shirt and denim pant or a blak dress or a silver skirt. They know who they are, they’re at peace with it and unashamed of it. They look at the world with tolerance, good will and respect.

I hope to inspire you all to be yourselves. To choose clothes that reflect your beautiful souls, instead of ones that hide your true identities.

I hope to help you see that your smile, beautiful hair, sparkling eyes, soft lips are the only accesories you need. I hope you see that less is more and that a closet of clothes will never match a case of happy memories.

Help me make this world a better place by being who you are: beautiful, uncomplicated, cultivated, peaceful and kind with those who surround you. Kind enough to give advice instead of looking disgusted. Kind enough to make a compliment instead of gossip.

Love you,

The Fashion Grinch
