My Take: Feminine in Army Jackets

I’ve been playing around with this idea for some time now. It’s not an easy thing to do, much like telling your parents you have a boyfriend, going at the first interview in your life or confessing you best friend you have felings for him. It’s about putting yourself out there – literally.

But one day I realized I want to take that step forward, shake your hands, invite you to a coffee or even a stroll in the park. I wanted to bridge this virtual gap between us. So, here we are – at my first outfit post, in the last days of indian summer.

An army jacket is more versatile than you’d think. While at first you’re inclined to wear it only with jeans and studded boots for an edgy, more masculine look, you can actually complement an otherwise feminine outfit.

I love the idea of pairing it with a woolen, camel hat, for a misterious touch and a leather satchel in a peach shade, the perfect transitional bag for fall.

I’ve always wanted a pure suede skirt and this time I found one that follows the shape of my body, instead of being classic A-line. Also, I jumped this fall’s wagon with kaki suede pumps, from Bershka.
